Class Types

All of our teachers have successfully completed the Music Together® Teaching Workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children, Princeton, New Jersey. Additionally, our teachers have been awarded Music Together Certification Level I status, having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education. The award was granted by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey, Kenneth Guilmartin, Founder/Director. They participate in continuing education thru skills & songs workshops several times a year. We are passionate about music and young children, and hope to inspire a whole new generation of music makers who can sing in tune, move in rhythm and participate with joy and confidence as they create music with family and friends throughout their lives. We love what we do!

Since his graduation, he studied and started practicing Rolfing, and also taught private voice and piano lessons as well as directing showchoir for teens and elementary aged kids. Leading the showchoirs helped Garrett realize how much he loves working with young kids. Garrett's niece inspired him to do Music Together when he saw how well she was interacting with the music, and went to her class and saw how much fun it was. Garrett has also studied Brain Gym, and is educated in development, neurological balance and the body. He performs with a traditional West African Dance group, Logo Ligi, and a Highlife group, as well as sporadic lead roles in musicals and operas.
